Before joining TLGEC in 2019, James has gained a multitude of experience in a variety industries such as finance and leadership, broadcasting and working in the technological field. James has previously led a successful electrical installation company, which in turn grew his interest and knowledge of the renewables sector he specialises in today.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending his time socialising with family and friends, he’s also a keen sportsman, occasionally dabbling in football, rugby, snowboarding, water sports and golf to name a few!

I started at TLGEC in September 2019 as General Manager and was promoted to Managing Director in April 2021.
TLGEC are a great company to work for – we have a friendly team environment whilst also being professional in our attitudes.
Externally, we are delivering high quality, premium product design and installations of renewable energy systems to a diverse demographic both domestically and commercially – it is always very rewarding to talk to happy clients who have invested in renewable technologies.
I am enjoying both the challenges and satisfactions as we build and develop the company. We aspire to be the true premier consultancy, design and installation provider of renewable energy systems both regionally, nationally and, who knows, beyond!
Working in this sector is exciting, not only as a business, but also knowing how important renewable energy is to both future generations and the Earth itself.
We all know that traditional energy generation is not sustainable, and we need to address the situation now.
As technology advances (and it is on an almost weekly basis!) we can all play our part in safeguarding the future of the planet.
In my current role, it is hugely rewarding to see the day by day development of our team of people and how the business is transforming towards its goals.
Go for it! As said earlier, renewables are the future of the planet and everyone needs to play their part.
On a financial aspect, after the initial outlay, the energy produced is free so as long as its an affordable option, it’s a no-brainer!
