Solar PV: Hempstead, Kent: Mr W

In 2014 we installed this 15 Panel Solar PV System for Mr W in Hempstead, Kent.

This year I decided that my wife and I would look into reducing our energy consumption, we are high energy users partially due to the fact we have a 3 kW heater in our 3000 gallon koi pond which I keep to a minimum of 16 c, we also care for three young children who along with us bathe daily and leave lights on!!

My first project was to change every bulb in our house to LED, this I could do myself.

Now, this is where this company comes in, second phase. All of the comments to follow are my opinion and are taken from the excellent service we have received to date.

I started my research on PV in early February and was inundated with pushy companies saying buy now for all sorts of reasons.
I had a Hugh challenge to get the aesthetics right as my wife was opposed to solar saying they look ugly, not the case as you will see from the photographs attached to this review.

My first point of contact was via the website with Derek, a very informed non-pushy chap who had our best interests at heart, I told him what I wanted, Derek arranged an appointment time to suit and explained the principals of PV infinite detail leaving no questions unanswered. Next stage was a visit from Mick the surveyor who drew the plans and calculated the income that would be generated with an approximate payback cycle of the installation costs.

The quote was given which was very competitive and the full details of work to be carried out, very happy deposit tendered and fit dates agreed.we then when on to meet with all of the team at this company who are large enough to cope and small enough to care.At every stage my wife and I were kept informed as to the progress of the installation and treated with total respect and courtesy, I am quite an awkward and specific chap to deal with and this company needed patience, they certainly showed this.

We are now proud owners of 15 x SolarWorld 265 watt all black panels, an SMA Sunny Boy 3600 inverter, an immersion power reducer system (too complicated for me to explain)and a Sunny View monitor.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough as to what they have done for us, they are a total credit to this industry. If you need any more personal recommendation then give them a call to get my contact number and I will be happy to oblige.
